Baltimore hotels expected to rebound // 08-28-2010
Baltimore’s hotels are expected to see more money during the rest of this year, along with the rest of the country’s hospitality industry.
While the past two years have been harsh for revenue at Baltimore’s hotels, this year will see a 3.8 percent increase in rooms revenue, according to a Colliers PKF Hospitality Research report released Thursday.
Revenue per available room, or revPar, will increase from $63.84 in 2009 to $66.24 this year. Revenue per available room is a key metric in the hotel industry.
